Chongqing Bank Shareholder Unlocks 46 Million Shares, Then Re-Pledges Them Immediately

Bank Of Chongqing Co., Ltd. (601963) disclosed on August 28 that its shareholder, Chongqing Afari Technology Co., Ltd. (601777), along with its subsidiary Lifan International (Holdings) Co., Ltd., collectively holds 295 million shares in the bank, representing 8.13% of total share capital.
Chongqing Afari Technology Co., Ltd. has cumulatively pledged 108 million A-shares of the bank, accounting for 2.98% of total share capital. The company recently lifted the pledge on 46 million A-shares, which represent 1.27% of total share capital. Immediately afterward, an equivalent re-pledge was executed on the same 46 million shares, also representing 1.27% of total share capital.
