Shares of SHANGHAI FUDAN (01385) surged nearly 6% in the afternoon session, last trading up 5.22% at HK$27.02, with turnover reaching HK$57.13 million.
In a recent corporate update, the company reported first-half revenue of RMB 2.225 billion, a year-on-year increase of 21.03%, while net profit attributable to shareholders jumped 338.58% to RMB 849 million. The earnings boost was driven by a recovering industry cycle and stronger downstream customer demand, which lifted both revenue and gross profit across its IC design product lines. Gross profit expanded by approximately RMB 224 million compared to the same period last year.
According to Zheshang Securities, the Agent development platform is expected to further reinforce the company's ecosystem barriers. SHANGHAI FUDAN has been building an integrated "chip-software-solution" ecosystem, systematically rolling out FPGA IP and related solutions, alongside the launch of its intelligent FPGA development platform, FathomL4Agent. This platform enables clients to automate the entire FPGA development workflow, lowering the barriers related to language, tools, and verification, while optimizing overall development costs.
