China Boton Buys Back 0.47 Million Shares for HKD 1.27 Million, Raising Treasury Stock to 22.41 Million

China Boton Group Company Limited reported a share repurchase of 474,000 ordinary shares on 31 August 2026, according to its Next Day Disclosure Return filed with the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. The transaction was executed on-market at prices ranging between HKD 2.60 and HKD 2.74 per share, resulting in a volume-weighted average cost of HKD 2.67 per share and an aggregate consideration of HKD 1.27 million.

Prior to the repurchase, China Boton had 1.06 billion issued shares (excluding 21.93 million treasury shares). The 474,000 shares bought back represent 0.04% of the company’s issued share capital. All repurchased shares have been retained as treasury shares, lifting the treasury share balance to 22.41 million while the total issued share count remains unchanged at 1.08 billion.

The buyback was conducted under the general mandate approved by shareholders on 22 May 2026, which authorises the company to repurchase up to 108.05 million shares. Cumulative repurchases under this mandate now stand at 474,000 shares, equating to 0.04% of the shares outstanding on the mandate date.

In line with Hong Kong Listing Rules, China Boton is restricted from issuing new shares or disposing of treasury shares until 30 September 2026. The board has confirmed that all regulatory requirements and procedural formalities related to the repurchase have been duly observed.
