NT Pharma (01011) has announced its strong disagreement with an arbitration award issued by the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission on July 20, 2026, and has engaged a compliance legal team to initiate statutory procedures including an application to set aside the ruling.
The disputed arbitration stems from guarantee arrangements tied to a 2020 asset transaction agreement signed with entities affiliated with Beijing Konruns Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., with the relevant equity transfer completed back in 2020. The award orders NT Pharma and its related jointly liable parties to pay approximately RMB 92 million in penalties, related costs, and arbitration fees.
The company holds significant objections to the ruling and has already appointed a compliance-focused legal team to commence legal remedies such as seeking revocation of the award. At this stage, the ruling remains within the statutory period during which an application for revocation can be lawfully made, and the payment obligations have not yet entered the enforcement phase.
The group is currently conducting a prudent assessment of potential financial impacts, taking into account the allocation of liability among joint obligors and the responsibility boundaries of entities that have already completed bankruptcy restructuring. Day-to-day operations and cash flow of the group remain in a normal state.
