Power distribution and data center infrastructure maker Accelevation Holdings has filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission to raise up to roughly $800 million through an initial public offering.

The Ohio-based company, founded in 2017 and headquartered in Miamisburg, plans to list on the Nasdaq under the ticker symbol "ACCV."

Accelevation manufactures and installs power distribution and data center infrastructure products used within data centers. Its offerings include branch circuit whips, remote power panels, power distribution units (PDUs), along with associated monitoring, thermal management, and on-site installation services, all integrated into factory-preassembled components.

The company generates revenue through product sales as well as installation and field services performed at customer sites. Its client base spans hyperscale data center operators, colocation providers, and AI and cloud service operators.

In 2025, Accelevation's revenue surged 147%, and as of June 30, 2026, the company's order backlog stood at approximately $1.1 billion. For the twelve months ending June 30, 2026, the firm reported revenue of $727 million.

Market research indicates that power demand from AI data centers is expanding at an explosive pace, far surpassing traditional IT load growth patterns. Over the coming years, U.S. utilities and other grid builders may need to spend trillions of dollars on large-scale upgrades to aging networks, providing the most robust power capacity resources for unprecedented AI data center construction and expansion cycles led by tech giants like Microsoft, Google, and Amazon.

Whether through grid modernization or policy shifts toward self-built power systems, global power assets are entering a structural revaluation cycle driven by the AI computing infrastructure boom. For Accelevation, this power asset surge could position it for a strong IPO performance.
