The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has officially approved a comprehensive set of 674 industry standards, including the specification for driverless industrial vehicles, as announced on its official website on September 2nd.

These newly sanctioned standards span a diverse range of sectors, with the breakdown as follows: 34 for the chemical industry, 15 for petrochemicals, 10 for ferrous metallurgy, 9 for non-ferrous metals, 1 for the gold sector, 36 for building materials, 223 for the machinery sector, 1 for the shipbuilding industry, 107 for light manufacturing, 25 for textiles, 37 for electronics, and 176 for the communications field.

In addition to the primary list, the Ministry has also ratified modifications to one light industry standard concerning yeast protein and has endorsed the English-language editions of two textile standards, specifically those related to carded cashmere weaving yarn. All revised standards are set to take effect immediately from the date of publication.
