During the 2026 interim results conference held on August 31, China Zheshang Bank Co.,Ltd. (601916) Deputy Party Secretary and Vice President Zhou Weixin outlined the bank's strategic focus on high-quality retail business development. He emphasized that the bank is seizing significant opportunities in the current wealth management market by maintaining a retail-first approach, while continuously strengthening the construction of its retail "6+1" system. This initiative centers on customers, products, team building, assessment mechanisms, service and channel optimization, all reinforced by robust risk and compliance safeguards.

Zhou further highlighted the bank's commitment to compliance as a fundamental baseline, alongside significant enhancements in digital risk control capabilities. Through the systematic arrangement and strategic deployment of the retail "6+1" framework, the bank aims to solidify its retail-first development position and capitalize on the evolving wealth management landscape. These sustained efforts have already yielded positive results, particularly in asset under management (AUM) growth during the first half of the year.

By the end of June, the bank's AUM balance had reached ¥941.7 billion, reflecting a 22% increase over the half-year period. Concurrently, retail deposit balances stood at ¥442 billion, marking an increase of ¥46.2 billion compared to the start of the year, which represents a 12% growth for the six-month period.
