According to WorkBuddy international product expert Liu Jiamin, the international version of Tencent WorkBuddy was opened to the global market at the end of May this year.

It has already been deployed in Hong Kong, Macau, the United States, Singapore, Thailand, and the Philippines, with a full global rollout scheduled for this month. Within just over three months of its international launch, the product has already addressed most office scenarios that require efficiency improvements, with Hong Kong users notably demanding high efficiency from AI products—an area where boosting work productivity is WorkBuddy's core strength.

Liu pointed out that following the debut of the Huntuan Hy4 preview, the product's capabilities have been significantly upgraded. It has now integrated with Notion and GitHub, and within the next two weeks will connect to instant messaging tools such as Slack, Telegram, and Discord. There are also future plans to support the integration of office software like Google Workspace and Microsoft.

Additionally, the international version of WorkBuddy incorporates mainstream AI large models—including Tencent HY, Zhipu GLM, GPT, and Gemini—and will offer customized ecosystems based on overseas users' needs and application scenarios. The integrated Huntuan Hy4 preview has shown notable improvements in handling complex office environments, comprehension, and financial analysis capabilities.

Tencent recently unveiled the WorkBuddy Open Platform, which opens up underlying Agent capabilities to smart hardware, industry applications, and developers. The first batch includes more than 100 ecosystem partners, along with co-branded smart hardware products. Liu revealed that the international version is also planning to introduce an open platform, currently in the phase of understanding the specific needs of different countries and regions, aiming to first grasp real user demands and complete the capability loop.

Starting today (September 3), Tencent is hosting the three-day "Tencent Agent Day" event in Hong Kong. The event will feature WorkBuddy International, the Miora creative assistant, the international music media platform JOOX, and the newly launched "Huntuan Hy4 preview." These will be showcased via a specially designed AI double-decker bus touring across the city, demonstrating to both the public and enterprise users the application capabilities of AI Agents in real office and daily scenarios.
