CHINA RE to Release H1 2026 Unaudited Interim and Solvency Reports for P&C and Life Units Following RMB13.00 Billion Bond Issues

China Reinsurance (Group) Corporation (abbreviated as CHINA RE) announced that its subsidiaries—China Re Property and Casualty Reinsurance Company Ltd. (China Re P&C) and China Life Reinsurance Company Ltd. (China Re Life)—will publish their unaudited interim financial statements and solvency reports for the six months ended 30 June 2026. The disclosures will appear on China Money (www.chinamoney.com.cn) and Shanghai Clearing House (www.shclearing.com.cn) in accordance with regulatory requirements for issuers of capital supplementary bonds.

The forthcoming publications stem from capital transactions completed between 2023 and 2025. China Re P&C placed two tranches of capital supplementary bonds, each with a principal amount of RMB4.00 billion, while China Re Life issued bonds totaling RMB5.00 billion, all via the National Interbank Bond Market. Together, the subsidiaries have raised RMB13.00 billion, triggering mandatory semi-annual disclosure of unaudited financial and solvency information for the duration of the instruments.

In parallel, CHINA RE will release its group-level Announcement of the Unaudited Interim Results for the six-month period to 30 June 2026 on 28 August 2026 through the websites of Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing (www.hkexnews.hk) and the company’s own portal (www.chinare.com.cn).

The interim and solvency reports are being issued under the Inside Information provisions of Hong Kong’s Securities and Futures Ordinance and in line with Rule 13.09(2) of the HKEX Listing Rules.
