Shares of TIANNENG POWER (00819) fell more than 3% during Hong Kong trading, with the latest figures showing a 3.63% decline to HK$4.38, on a transaction volume of HK$27.3194 million.

According to results released on August 28, the company reported revenue of RMB 22.683 billion for the six months ended June 30, 2026, marking a year-on-year decrease of 6.24%. Profit attributable to owners of the company stood at RMB 284 million, down 65.33% from the previous year, with basic earnings per share of RMB 25.24 cents.

The company noted that during the reporting period, market demand, product mix, and competitive dynamics in the battery industry continued to evolve. The group's operating performance faced year-on-year pressure, primarily due to intensified market competition and rising raw material costs.
