Shares of CONCORD NE (00182) climbed more than 6% during Tuesday's trading session before paring gains. At the time of writing, the stock was up 3.17% to HK$0.325, with turnover reaching HK$4.19 million.

On the news front, the company earlier reported its interim results, posting revenue of approximately HK$1.258 billion for the first half, gross profit of around HK$584 million, and net profit attributable to shareholders of about HK$100 million.

Notably, the group has been quick to seize the massive power demand opportunity driven by the rapid global growth in AI investment. It has already positioned itself in regions including the United States, Southeast Asia, and Eastern Europe for AIDC development and supporting integrated energy solution businesses, with overall progress currently running smoothly.

Guoyuan International previously issued a research note stating that, from a medium-to-long-term perspective, the company's investment thesis is shifting from that of a pure domestic wind and solar operator to a multi-engine growth model combining domestic existing operations, long-term overseas PPA agreements, and US data center business development. Coupled with its overseas PPA long-term contracts and a project pipeline exceeding 4GW in the US, along with data center development activities, this could unlock new growth avenues over the next two to three years.
