China Smarter Energy Group Holdings Limited published its 2025 Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Report, outlining board-level climate oversight, detailed environmental metrics and upgraded policies on labour, governance and supply-chain risk control for the 2025 calendar year.
Key governance actions • The board retains ultimate responsibility for ESG, incorporating Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) guidance into corporate strategy and risk management. • A three-stage materiality assessment identified six priority topics: climate-change response, product/service quality, energy utilisation, corporate governance, employee rights and innovation.
Climate and environmental performance • Scope 1 greenhouse-gas (GHG) emissions: 0 tonnes CO₂e. • Scope 2 GHG emissions: 1.42 tonnes CO₂e; total GHG emissions intensity: 0.089 tonnes CO₂e per employee. • No hazardous waste generated; domestic wastewater is fully treated via municipal systems. • Green-office measures include 100 % LED lighting, energy-saving HVAC settings and mandatory paper-saving practices.
Risk and opportunity management • Physical risks such as extreme weather and chronic climate shifts are addressed through reinforced plant design, resource-monitoring models and emergency drills. • Transition risks—policy changes, market dynamics and reputational factors—are mitigated via compliance reviews, technology upgrades and enhanced disclosures. • Opportunities from rising renewable-energy demand, supportive policies and green finance are embedded in investment planning.
Workforce and social metrics (as at 31 December 2025) • Total employees: 16 (50 % female); turnover rate: 6 %. • 63 % of staff received training, averaging 7.5 hours per employee. • Zero work-related fatalities and no lost-time injuries recorded. • Compliant employment practices confirmed; no child or forced labour cases reported.
Governance and supply-chain controls • A zero-tolerance anti-corruption framework recorded no legal cases in 2025. • Annual supplier assessments incorporate environmental, occupational-safety and social-responsibility criteria; partners are encouraged to secure ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 certifications.
Community engagement • Distributed photovoltaic projects on under-utilised rural land support the national rural-revitalisation agenda, improving local soil and water conditions, boosting agricultural income and creating employment opportunities.
The ESG report affirms China Smarter Energy Group’s commitment to low-carbon growth, transparent governance and inclusive employment as integral components of its long-term value-creation strategy.
