HARBIN BANK released its unaudited results for the six months ended 30 June 2026. Net profit rose 11.29 % year-on-year to RMB 1.10 billion, while profit attributable to shareholders increased 12.81 % to RMB 1.03 billion.
Operating income grew 4.53 % to RMB 7.72 billion, driven by a 7.35 % gain in net fee and commission income to RMB 289.10 million. Net interest income slipped 2.25 % to RMB 4.31 billion; the net interest margin narrowed to 0.98 % from 1.10 %.
Total assets reached RMB 1.03 trillion, up 0.64 % from end-2025. Customer loans advanced 2.90 % to RMB 422.55 billion, and customer deposits grew 0.74 % to RMB 724.57 billion. The loan-to-deposit ratio increased to 58.32 %.
Asset quality remained stable: the non-performing loan ratio stayed at 2.80 %, and the impairment coverage ratio improved to 236.40 %.
Capital buffers declined; the capital adequacy ratio stood at 11.98 %, down from 13.52 % at year-end, while the core tier 1 ratio eased to 8.36 %.
Retail finance contributed 51.3 % of operating income, corporate finance 38.2 %, and interbank activities 10.6 %.
Subsidiaries recorded steady growth. Harbin Bank Financial Leasing Co., Ltd. expanded total assets by 8.44 % to RMB 29.35 billion, and Harbin Bank Consumer Finance Co., Ltd. lifted assets 7.24 % to RMB 26.78 billion.
The bank declared no interim dividend for the period.
