Nanhua Futures buys back 206,000 H-shares, lifting treasury stock to 1.88 million

Nanhua Futures Co., Ltd. reported a share repurchase on 31 August 2026 involving 206,000 H-shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange at prices ranging from HKD 6.61 to HKD 6.78 per share, for a volume-weighted average cost of HKD 6.65 per share. The total consideration was approximately HKD 1.37 million.

Following the transaction, the company’s issued share capital (excluding treasury shares) declined by 0.13 % to 154.22 million shares, while treasury shares increased to 1.88 million. The overall issued share count, including treasury shares, remained unchanged at 156.11 million.

The repurchase forms part of the mandate approved on 16 July 2026, which authorises the company to buy back up to 10.77 million shares. Cumulative repurchases under this mandate now stand at 1.88 million shares, representing 17.48 % of the authorised limit and 1.75 % of the company’s issued shares as at the mandate date.

Under Hong Kong listing rules, Nanhua Futures is subject to a moratorium on issuing new shares or disposing of treasury shares until 30 September 2026.
