Kangqiao Service Group Limited announced the appointment of Mr Song Xiangxi, aged 35, as an executive director with effect from 13 April 2026.

Mr Song brings more than a decade of experience in U.S. real-estate development and investment management. Since joining BNR Builder in 2017, he has risen to chief executive officer and president, overseeing residential and commercial projects across the San Francisco Bay Area and leading full-cycle development, government approvals and asset operations. He was also a partner at Friendly Hill Capital (2017–2022), focusing on early-stage and growth-oriented technology investments.

Mr Song holds an Executive MBA from the University of California, Berkeley (2022) and dual bachelor’s degrees in Finance and Accounting from Temple University. He is the son of Mr Song Gewei, the company’s chairman and non-executive director.

Under a three-year service agreement commencing 13 April 2026, Mr Song will receive director’s remuneration of RMB0.30 million per annum plus a performance-based discretionary bonus. The contract can be terminated by either party with one month’s written notice and is subject to rotation and re-election under the company’s articles of association.

The board extended congratulations to Mr Song on his new role. The board now comprises Chairman and non-executive director Mr Song Gewei; executive directors Mr Dai Wei, Mr Kang Weiguo, Ms Wang Na and Mr Song Xiangxi; and independent non-executive directors Mr Kam Hou Yin John, Dr Fan Yun and Mr Wong Yun Pun.
