TOPNC (07688) saw its share price spike more than 9% during the trading session, before settling to a gain of 6.70% at HK$16.72 per share, with turnover reaching HK$15.93 million.
The company released its interim results for the six months ended June 30, 2026, on August 28, reporting revenue of RMB 166 million and gross profit of RMB 77.53 million.
Where the growth is coming from: The company's compact, general-market five-axis machining centers are designed with high process adaptability, suitable for a wide range of materials and geometric shapes. Their user-friendly interface provides an accessible entry point for industrial-grade precision machining across various general industries. During the reporting period, sales of these machines reached 14 units, marking a 100.0% increase compared to the same period in 2025.
Adding to the positive momentum, in June of this year, the company successfully delivered its first 5-meter-class friction stir welding production line to a Chinese private commercial rocket company. In the development of critical structural components for commercial rockets, the company and its client completed double-sided friction stir welding tests on 50mm-thick aluminum alloy plates, achieving weld strength exceeding 90% of the base material. These tests also validated the performance of the company's self-developed 430Nm new heavy-duty spindle and intelligent control system.
