Dow Futures fell 0.25%, S&P 500 Futures fell 0.40%, Nasdaq Futures fell 0.58% as risk appetite softened in broadly risk-off overnight trade.

Chip stocks fell, with Direxion Daily Semiconductors Bull 3x Shares (SOXL) falling 3.33%, Marvell Technology falling 1.27%, Astera Labs, Inc. falling 0.96%, Intel falling 1.25%, SUPER MICRO COMPUTER INC falling 0.81%, NXP Semiconductors NV falling 1.08%.

Memory chip stocks fell, with Roundhill Memory ETF (DRAM) falling 1.04%, SanDisk Corp. falling 1%, Micron Technology falling 0.82%, Western Digital, Seagate Technology PLC falling 0.69%.

Optical communication stocks fell, with AXT Inc falling 0.22%, Credo Technology Group Holding Ltd (CRDO) falling 0.74%, Lumentum falling 1%, Applied Optoelectronics (AAOI) falling 0.9%, Coherent falling 0.82%.

Among other individual movers, ProShares Ultra Bloomberg Crude Oil (UCO) climbed 2.44%, Chevron gained 2.44%, NEBIUS fell 2.61%, Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) slipped 1%, Palantir Technologies Inc. (PLTR) declined 1%, Rocket Lab USA, Inc. (RKLB) fell 1%.
