Shares of SIMCERE PHARMA (02096) rose by nearly 9% during the trading session. At the time of writing, the stock is up 7.55%, trading at HK$9.97 with a turnover of HK$62.79 million.
Recently, Stanford University School of Medicine and SIMCERE PHARMA have entered into a collaborative research agreement aimed at developing innovative therapies for patients with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF). Under the terms of the agreement, SIMCERE PHARMA will fund this exploratory research for a first-in-class molecule. Upon successful development, the company will secure an exclusive license and obtain 100% global rights to the product.
