China Minsheng Banking Posts Lower H1 Attributable Profit; Net Interest Income Up

China Minsheng Banking (SHA:600016, HKG:1988) reported 19.5 billion yuan in profit attributable to equity shareholders for the first half, compared with 21.4 billion yuan a year ago, a Friday bourse filing showed.

EPS moved to 0.40 yuan from 0.45 yuan year over year.

For the six months ended June 30, net interest income was 52.6 billion yuan, versus 49.2 billion yuan previously, the lender said.

The bank declared a cash dividend of 1.18 yuan per 10 shares, payable Oct. 27 to shareholders of record as of Sept. 16.
