Climb Bio's (CLYM) upcoming CLYM116 data could show strong drug activity, longer-lasting effects and potential dosing every eight to 12 weeks, which would strengthen the drug's position against rivals, Oppenheimer said in a note Monday.
The investment firm said it expects Thursday's phase 1 update to show how different doses affect IgA levels and how long the treatment effect lasts.
A 60% to 70% drop in IgA at relatively low doses would support its view that CLYM116 may be more potent than competing drugs, Oppenheimer said.
CLYM116 may also provide longer-lasting effects by clearing the APRIL protein more effectively, while its ability to use higher doses could further extend the treatment benefit, according to the note.
Oppenheimer has an outperform rating and $18 price target for Climb Bio.
