Chifeng Jilong Gold Mining's Net Profit Climbs 56% in H1; Shares Sink 10%

Chifeng Jilong Gold Mining Group's (HKG:6693, SHA:600988) attributable net profit rose 56.5% to 1.73 billion yuan in the first six months of 2026, from 1.11 billion yuan a year ago, according to a Friday filing to the Hong Kong stock exchange.

The gold producer's shares plunged nearly 10% in Monday's trade.

Earnings per share came in at 0.92 yuan from 0.63 yuan a year earlier.

The company's operating income increased 33.1% in the reported period to 7.02 billion yuan from 5.27 billion yuan a year ago.
