Lac Gold Says Canada Project Drilling Shows Scale, Continuity of Mineralized System

Lac Gold (ASX:LAC) said results from a further 20 diamond drill holes at the Astoria deposit within its Rouyn gold project in Canada showed the scale and continuity of the mineralized system, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.
Broad mineralized intervals included 86 meters at 1.12 grams per tonne grade of gold, 86.6 meters at 0.59 g/t grade of gold, and 55.6 meters at 0.74g/t grade of gold.
The firm began reviewing opportunities to expand drilling into other areas of the broader project.
Its shares fell 2% in recent trading on Monday.
