Pasqal, KACST Collaborate on Quantum-Safe Cryptography Solutions

Pasqal (PSQL) entered into a research agreement with King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology to advance quantum technology and quantum-safe cryptography, the company said Monday.
Under the agreement, Pasqal and KACST will combine quantum technology and research infrastructure to develop quantum-safe cryptographic solutions, initially focusing on quantum cryptography.
The collaboration will run through KACST's National Center for Quantum Technologies as part of a multi-year program aimed at bringing quantum-safe solutions to the Saudi market, it added.
Pasqal shares were down more than 12% in premarket trading.
