0720 GMT - Yields on U.K. government bonds, or gilts, decline, tracking their U.S. equivalents and helped by lower oil prices. This comes after developed-market sovereign bond yields climbed to multiyear highs in recent sessions, mainly driven by inflation concerns. Ten-year gilt yields hit a 19-year high of 5.294% on Wednesday, while 10-year Bund yields hit their highest since 2011, LSEG data show. Market focus is on U.S. non-farm payrolls data due to be released on Friday. Ten-year gilt yields fall 4.1 basis points to last trade at 5.198%.
