Hyundai Motor's (KRX:005380) union have agreed to a wage deal with the automaker for 2026, Yonhap News Agency reported Tuesday, citing a statement from the union.

About 62% of the 31,166 union members voted on Monday to approve the deal, which includes a 100,000 won raise in monthly base wages, the report cited the union as saying.

Other terms include performance bonuses of 400% of workers' monthly pays and 12.7 million won in cash as well as an extension in the retirement age to 65 from 60 under changes in related laws, the report said.

The union's earlier strikes, including a walkout on Aug. 21, led to about 120 hours of production stoppages, the report said.
