North AmericanBlue Energy Partners aims to send more than 50 drilling rigs to Venezuela over the next few years to boost crude production, The Wall Street Journal reported Monday, citing an internal document.
According to the report, the company intends to move six rigs into Venezuelan fields by the end of the year, followed by 12 in 2027 and two additional units monthly starting in 2028.
North American Blue Energy did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
