Singapore Dollar Edges Lower as Risk Appetite Fades

0246 GMT - The Singapore dollar weakens slightly against its U.S. counterpart in Asia amid fading appetite for risky assets. "Renewed U.S.-Iran military exchanges rattled sentiment," UOB Global Economics & Markets Research says in a report. "Geopolitical risk remains elevated, with U.S.-Iran hostilities ongoing." The U.S. dollar is 0.1% higher at 1.2716 Singapore dollars, LSEG data show.
