President Trump posted on social media on September 6, claiming that after he gave the late Congressman John Dingell a "Royal Sendoff, MAXED OUT," Dingell's widow Debbie Dingell called him, thanked him profusely while crying uncontrollably, but has since been criticizing him.
"Upon his death, I gave Congressman John Dingell, the Royal Sendoff, MAXED OUT! His wife, Debbie Dingbat, called me and thanked me profusely, while crying uncontrollably. She couldn't believe I would do such a nice thing! Since then, she says nothing but bad about your favorite President, ME!" Trump wrote.
He continued: "Every time I see that Third Rate Loser ripping me, I'm amazed, because I'm a loyal person, I don't do things like that but, that's OK — It's Politics. However, it shouldn't be that way!"
Trump also posted an old photo shaking hands with Debbie Dingell. John Dingell served in the House for over 59 years and died in 2019. His widow, Debbie Dingell, is currently a U.S. Representative from Michigan and has publicly criticized Trump several times recently.
